HubSpot Updates In March 2020
Specify a Unique HTML Title For Blog Posts
Have you ever thought it would be nice if you had more control over how your HubSpot content appeared in Google search? Well now you can to improve things like:
- Click-through rates
- Content based on context viewing
Previously, HubSpot made the HTML title the same as the main heading (or H1), and you couldn't really change it. Now you have the ability to make these separate!
Do this on a blog post by going to:
- Settings tab
- Type the title you want in the H1 in the 'blog title' field
- If you want a different title to in search results, click the 'customize blog page title' link and enter the new title in the 'Page title' field
*This update is now live for all Marketing Hub Professional & Enterprise customers, as well as users of HubSpot CMS.
Control File Visibility in the Files Tool
HubSpot's file manager allows you to store all your assets (e.g., images, documents, graphics, PDFs) in one place and now you can control whether or not your files can be publicly viewed.
This updates makes it easier to secure files in HubSpot.
To do this:
- Marketing > Files and Templates > Files
- Click on a file to open the 'File Details' side panel on the right
- Find the visibility section and select whether the file should be publicly accessible and whether search engines should be able to crawl and index it.
- If it's publicly inaccessible, users can share an internal link, file preview with users within their portal, or create a temporary link that can be shared with people outside HubSpot for 24 hours.
Updated Jira Integration: Two-way Sync
This integration was previously built by Atlassian, and the ownership has recently been transferred to HubSpot.
- Integrate Service Hub tickets with Jira issues
- Visibility for all teams on company and contact records
- Automate and report on tickets and Jira issues
Advanced Sequences
Want to give your sales reps the ability to:
- Mass enroll contacts in a sequence;
- Pause sequences based on task completion; or
- Keep track of sequence performance with new reports?
Advanced sequences allows reps to not only streamline processes, but it gives them more flexibility, control and prevents email spam and decreased deliverability.
In addition, there are new 'Sender Score Reports” designed to give insight into a rep’s average sequence performance and new send limit for sequences:
- 150 enrollments/day is increasing to:
- 500 automated 1:1 email sends per day in Professional; and
- 1000 automated 1:1 emails in Enterprise.
*Now live for Sales and Service Hub Professional and Enterprise customers.
