Work Life

What is your role at CMO?

I am a Senior HubSpot Coordinator at Chief Martech Officer and on a day to day basis, I assist with client and project management. I also execute tasks in HubSpot, such as creating landing pages, emails and anything else that will help move our clients forward to achieve their goals.

What is your favorite HubSpot tool?

My favorite HubSpot tool is Workflows. I think it's really cool seeing the branching logic and how people are being directed based on their actions.

What’s the best thing about remote life?

There are a couple of things that I've been enjoying working remotely... I get to listen to whatever music I want to without headphones, which is awesome! And I get to do errands that I normally wouldn't get to do during my breaks, such as laundry or fixing myself a quick bite to eat from the kitchen. No more packing lunches!

What is your biggest achievement to date?

I have many achievements that I'm proud of. However, my biggest achievement that led to other achievements was when I overcame my lack of worthiness. I stopped doing unhealthy behaviors such as seeking approval, worrying about what others think, and talking down on myself. When I started focusing on me, that's when great things began to happen.

What blogs, Podcasts, groups would you recommend our readers follow?

On a daily basis, I would recommend listening to anything from Jim Rohn, Les Brown, David Goggins, Tom Bilyeu of Impact Theory and Team Fearless. For marketing, I listen to and read anything by Ramit Sethi, Brian Dean, and Copyblogger. There's so much more that I'm missing, but those are what come to mind.

Life Life

What do you do when you are not Hubspotting for our clients?

I go to the Krav Maga Academy of San Diego where we train for self defense. I'm in a Toastmasters club called 'Uptown Professionals' where we develop our public speaking skills. I also love reading and learning new things, especially personal development. And speaking of personal development, I have an Instagram called 'Active Confidence', where I share personal stories of conquering fears such as social anxiety, low self-esteem, and anything related to building confidence.

What is your motto or personal mantra?

There is a great quote by Les Brown, and he says, "Anything worth doing, is worth doing badly, until you get it right." This quote helped me with pursuing what I want, especially with getting out of my comfort zone.

What is your guilty pleasure?

I like reading children's books. My favorite authors are Jez Alborough, Richard Scarry and of course, Dr. Seuss.

Do you have a unique talent?

I can let go of the gas pump at the full dollar amount most of the time.

Where do you live and why do you love living there?

I'm in Bankers Hill area of San Diego. I like living here because it's central to many things such as the freeways which is always convenient for me.
