What You'll Be

HubSpot Client Services Managers are operational pros, who can support and advise our client services team members through training, mentorship, process, and other operational efficiencies. Internal communication is a big part of the job!

You will be working alongside a HubSpot Strategy Manager, who develops the services we offer and develops the specialized skills the team needs to deliver on those services, in addition to consulting with our clients to define their individual strategic plans and being our on staff expert platform trainer. Supporting client servicing staff (assistants, coordinators, and consultants) will look to you for guidance to support your clients' projects.

This is a 100% remote position. 

 

What You'll Need

  • 4-5 years experience in a technology marketing, sales, or service role. Ideal experience would include all three departments. As a revenue operations agency we need to be knowledgeable about how all of these teams work.
  • 3-5 years actively using the HubSpot platform
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • 3-5 years of direct client management
  • 3-5 years of training experience
  • 2-3 years experience of managing and mentoring a team
  • 3-5 years of budgeting and resource planning experience
  • Deep understanding of HubSpot and its many parts
  • Resourceful troubleshooter with a high technical understanding of marketing, sales, and service tools
  • 1-2 years of hiring and talent sourcing
  • 1-2 years process development
  • Highly disciplined/organized and able to segment your time and focus in order to hit deadlines
  • Able to manage a budget of hours across clients and team members
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Able to direct others
  • Currently living in California

What You'll Do

  • Process Development
    • Devise the best strategic approach to client communication, project management, team training, tools, etc.
    • Create processes and documentation
    • Create and/or improve onboarding programs for employees and clients
  • Client Management
    • Train the client services team on critical processes needed to deliver excellent service
    • Act as an escalation point for clients
  • Project Management
    • Act as the ultimate overseer of the project management system with regular audits to ensure nothing slips past the team
  • Leadership
    • Lead regular team connect calls
    • Run regular monthly one-on-one mentoring meetings with assistants, coordinators, and consultants
  • Training
    • Develop documentation and training programs to support the delivery of our services and other strategies put into place by the Strategy Manager
  • Talent Procurement
    • Manage the team's capacity across clients & hours, identify where more talent may need to be hired
    • Manage recruiting and hiring 
    • Help the consultant(s) create and/or improve internship programs
  • Communication
    • Remain communicative and available with team and clients via Slack, email, text, conference call and smoke signals during reasonable business hours.
  • Internal Marketing & Sales
    • Contribute to company marketing (blog, social, SEO...)
    • Assist in the sales process when needed
  • Education
    • Complete & Maintain ALL HubSpot Certifications within 6 months
    • Complete Teamwork Projects Complete Certification within 6 months
    • Attend in-person and virtual educational events

The "Nice But Not Required" List

  • You have worked in all or almost all the client services team positions you would be managing
